Verizon Wireless — unanswered calls
Your phone rings first. Calls you do not answer, or calls received while busy, can be forwarded to NeverMiss AI instead of voicemail.
1. Enable forwarding
- Open the Phone app on your Verizon mobile phone and select the keypad.
- Dial *71 immediately followed by your assigned 10-digit NeverMiss AI number.
- Press Call and wait for the confirmation tones or message.
The phone may ring approximately 3–6 times before forwarding. Your normal voicemail may no longer answer these calls.
2. Test
- Call your existing business number from another phone.
- Do not answer the Verizon phone.
- Confirm NeverMiss AI answers, captures a sample request and sends your notification.
- Also test a busy call if applicable.
3. Turn forwarding off
Dial *73 from the Verizon mobile phone, press Call, and wait for confirmation. Then test again from a second phone to confirm forwarding has stopped.

Final activation checklist
Important: Do not activate forwarding until your dedicated NeverMiss AI number has been provisioned and tested. Carrier features, codes and fees can vary by plan. If you have trouble, contact your carrier or NeverMiss AI.
